 Jody Ho

21 years old, born in England on July 16, 1990. Lived in San Jose since I was 5. 4th year Senior at San Jose Sate University. Plays on the SJSU Women's Golf team. Marketing Major. Will graduate Spring 2013.

I love playing golf, and I love to practice. It is something I will continue to do for the rest of my life. My goal is to play on tour. I love playing because their is something you can always improve on. It is a game that teaches you so much about yourself and how to handle tough situations not only on the golf course but in life in general. It is sport that reflects your attitude, if you are happy you will score a lot better and you will enjoy it as well. I have learned to not let my scores affect my happiness. In September 2011 I was diagnosed with a bone marrow disorder and got into a golf cart accident that left me in the hospital for a week. I believe that these events changed my attitude on life for the better. I love life, and I live it to the fullest, there is nothing I cannot do. I am a very strong person mentally and physically, I will keep fighting back and will never give up on anything in life.

I love spending time with my friends and family. I love to smile, and meet new people. I try to help anyone I can, by being supportive and being a good role model for others.

Favorite Quote: "Smilers never lose, and frowners never win"  "the motivation for me was them telling me what I couldn't be"
